My untuned, primer gray ’70 Chevy Monte Carlo with 3″ exhaust with 12″ glasspack Cherry Bombs (3″ diameter) 350 small block bored .030 over. Scat rotating assembly, 10.5:1 compression, mild cam .456 lift 259° duration, Edelbrock 650 w/ 1″ spacer and Mallory distributor. Has 15″ wheels w/ 225 all around. Ididit Steering column and bucket seats. Pretty standard really. Needs tuning badly!
FINALLY. Damn i’ve been waing for these. I just installed a flip out tv, to head rest tv’s, and RIMS. Tell me what you think.

I’m 16 and i also have a 70 monte carlo that I’m in the process of restoring. I know little on how the engine works, like I can do oil changes and tire swaps and stuff like that, but where do I learn more, I’m not sure where to start.

You know bigger rims reduce your car’s speed? I raced an ’05 LS 3.5 with 210HP, versus my ’03 SS with 210HP, and I beat him, it was close but I won. Putting those big ugly rims on will further reduce your chance of this car ever being quick, unless you just use it as a daily driver with no stoplight racing at all. *shrugs*
